NOW ENROLLING FOR OCTOBER 2024

Enrollment Requirements

Prior to enrolling at Wild Whimsy Forest School, children must meet a few requirements to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment. Firstly, students should be toilet independent, capable of alerting a teacher when needing to use the restroom and able to manage personal hygiene independently. Additionally, children should be able to respond to their name and remain with a group for safety. Lastly, students must be at least 3 years of age by their first day of school. These prerequisites help us provide a seamless and enriching experience for all our young learners, fostering their independence and confidence as they explore the wonders of the forest.

To complete the enrollment process at Wild Whimsy, each family must schedule a visit to the forest for a chat with the Director. This includes the child ideally. This is a low key time where we can chat about the school experience and we get a chance to see the child's interaction with the forest. During this visit we would want to determine if our unique program would be developmentally suitable for your child.

Next steps would be to pay a deposit, which holds place, covers administrative fees, and schedules an interview. If you have questions before making the deposit, please reach out to us at wildwhimsyforestschool@gmail.com. A portion of the deposit is non-refundable ($150) and the remaining balance will be applied to the first month of tuition.

Once we receive your deposit, we will arrange an interview with school staff where you can ask questions and we can learn more about your family’s culture, customs, and values—important aspects for building a strong community. We will go over parent handbook and any other topics you choose.

To fully enroll you will next pay for the last month's tuition. We ask for at least 30 days notice of disenrollment so that we may ensure intentional transitions for your family and the next family coming in.

Lastly, the remaining balance for the first month tuition is due before the first day of school.

Further enrollment and billing information can be found in the document "Tuition Structure," available on this page and

Schedule a Forest Visit with Director of WWFS

This is an initial meet and greet to see what the school experience is like and first step to enrollment. It is also to match the child's readiness to our program. This is 20-40 minutes of light exploration of the park. All caregivers and the child should be present. Siblings are welcome. Please choose your top three dates and times to come visit, between the hours of 7am-3pm Tue-Thur and between 9am-noon on Saturday. If we cannot accomodate any, we will contact you to schedule.
